Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how the tradicted website (tradicted.com) and mobile app handle your information. Your privacy is important to us and we are committed to being transparent about the data processed when you use our services.

For the purposes of data protection laws like the GDPR, the Data Controller is Robert Gorak, operating as a sole founder. The third-party services we use (Google and Vercel) act as our Data Processors.

We do not collect or store personal data on our own servers. All data described below is processed by our service providers on our behalf.

Information We Process

A. Website (tradicted.com)

Vercel Web Analytics: Aggregated traffic data such as page views, referrers, top pages and approximate country. Vercel does not use third-party cookies; visitors are identified by a hash of the incoming request and session data is discarded after 24 hours. No personal identifiers are collected.
Vercel Speed Insights: Web Vitals performance metrics (such as LCP, FID, CLS) collected via browser APIs. No cookies and no personal identifiers.

Our website is cookieless. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party tracking technology that sets cookies on your device. Because no personal data is processed on the website, no cookie consent banner is required.

B. Mobile App

Email address: Used for authentication to secure your account. It is not displayed publicly or shared.
User Identifier: A unique ID generated by Firebase Authentication to manage your account.
Username: A display name you choose, used only for leaderboard purposes and linked to your User Identifier.
Device and App Performance Data: Device model, operating system, IP address, language settings and technical data about app performance and crashes (Firebase Crashlytics).
App Interaction Data: Anonymous data on how you interact with the app's features, such as screens visited and buttons tapped (Google Analytics for Firebase).
Advertising Data: Your device's Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS or AAID on Android) and interactions with ads (Google AdMob).
Approximate Location Data: Your general location (e.g. country or city) is inferred from your IP address. We do not request or track your precise GPS location. This data is used for analytics and to help serve more relevant ads.

On first app launch (and accessible at any time in Settings), EU and UK users see Google's GDPR consent window where they can grant or deny consent for personalized advertising.

How We Use Your Information

The data processed by our service providers is used for the following purposes:

To authenticate your account and ensure its security.
To display your chosen username on leaderboards.
To analyze website and app usage and performance to identify bugs and improve the user experience.
To deliver contextual and personalized advertisements through Google AdMob within the app.
To fulfill our legal and security obligations.

We process your information under the legal bases of consent (for personalized advertising in the app) and our legitimate interests (for essential functions like authentication, performance analytics and app stability).

Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following essential third-party services who act as our data processors:

Google Firebase: Used for authentication, analytics and crash reporting in the mobile app.
Google AdMob: Used for serving advertisements within the mobile app.
Vercel: Hosts the website and provides Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights.

These services are compliant with major data protection regulations, including GDPR.

International Data Transfers

Google and Vercel may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection for transfers from the EEA to the United States. Where additional safeguards are required, Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

Data Retention

Authentication Data: Retained until you delete your account.
Analytics and Crash Reports: Retained for a period allowing us to analyze trends, typically as defined by Google's policies.
Advertising Data: Retained as per Google's data retention policies.
Vercel Analytics: Session data discarded after 24 hours; aggregated metrics retained per Vercel's policies.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR and similar data protection laws, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we process about you.
Request rectification or erasure of your data.
Restrict or object to processing.
Receive your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent at any time (e.g. via the in-app AdMob consent window in the app's Settings menu).
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

To delete your account and all associated Firebase data, use the automated "Delete Account" feature within the app's settings menu. For any other request, please contact us at info@tradicted.com.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Website

Our website does not use cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, both of which are cookieless: they do not store any data on your device, do not set tracking cookies, and do not collect personal identifiers. Because no personal data is processed, no cookie consent banner is required.

Mobile App

The app does not use browser cookies. Firebase and AdMob use mobile device identifiers (IDFA on iOS, AAID on Android). You can reset these identifiers or opt out of personalized advertising via your device system settings, or via the GDPR consent window in the app's Settings menu.
