Hi, I'm Robert Gorak, the indie developer behind tradicted. I spent 15 years in IT, from BMW to Airbus Defence and Space, before leaving corporate to build tools that actually help traders learn.
The Problem I Needed to Solve
Eight years ago, I started trading. Like everyone, I opened a demo account to practice. The advice was simple: "Learn on demo before risking real money."
But there was a massive problem: waiting.
I'd sit there staring at charts, waiting for setups to form. Sometimes it took hours. Sometimes days. Sometimes weeks, depending on the timeframe. I wanted to learn fast, but the market wouldn't cooperate.
I thought: "What if every setup could appear in 2 seconds instead of 2 days?"
That's why I built tradicted.

My Background
I've spent roughly 15 years in IT, starting with internships at companies like BMW, eventually managing IT infrastructure at Airbus Defence and Space. But I always felt the pull toward building my own products.
In November 2024, I left the corporate world to become a bootstrap entrepreneur. tradicted is my first app, built entirely solo using Flutter, Firebase and Google Cloud. I had to learn everything from scratch. It was messy, but piece by piece, the product came together.
Today, I split my time between trading, building tradicted and developing sophisticated financial indicators for TradingView using Python and PineScript. My trend and compression indicator has already been offered £1 million, but I'd rather keep them accessible to everyone.

A Personal Note
I'm a self-taught developer and trader, an autodidact who learns by building. tradicted is messy behind the scenes, but it works. It solves a real problem I had and I hope it solves yours too.
This is a part-time passion project while I trade and build indicators. I'm not backed by VCs. I'm not trying to sell you courses. I'm just a guy who loves IT and finance, building tools I wish existed when I started.
